Why do I need to keep my website updated?

The main reason is security. Outdated themes, plugins, and frameworks can leave your site vulnerable to attacks. Also, updates help improve speed, add new features, fix bugs, and keep everything working smoothly.

Do you work on sites that aren’t WordPress?

These care plans are for WordPress, but I can also support platforms like Wix or Squarespace and offer services such as SEO and social media marketing.

Can you manage a site you didn’t build?

Often, yes. I'll do a quick check first to make sure it meets the standards before starting your care plan.

What does monthly support time cover?

Support time can cover questions, fixes, content edits, and small improvements. Major redesigns or additional features are billed separately. Only the Protect and Perform plans include support time.

Does unused support time roll over?

No, support time resets at the start of each month.

What are your response times?

I usually reply within 2 business days. Fixes, though, may take longer depending on the issue.

What if something breaks or stops working after an update?

Sometimes updates can cause issues. If that happens, we’ll restore your site from a backup. You can use your support time for fixes. If you've used up your time, I bill fixes at the hourly rate.

Can you help me restore my website in an emergency?

Yes— if you’re on a Protect or Perform plan, I can restore your site. If you're on the Nurture plan, I bill emergency fixes at the hourly rate.

Can you help with email issues?

We don’t handle general email problems, but we can assist with setup and MX record updates. Other issues should go through your IT provider.

What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel your care plan with a 30-day notice. We do not provide partial refunds.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade with a 30-day notice. We do not provide partial refunds.

Do you offer a guarantee?

While we provide maintenance and support, we are not liable for losses resulting from website downtime, security breaches, or third-party plugin failures.
