How to clear browser cache

If you made formatting changes to your website, don’t forget to purge the cache (site cache and browser cache), so the new version is loaded.

For most browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, IE or Edge), the keyboard shortcut to get to the clear cache dialog box is by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete at the same time.

Clear cache for Google Chrome
  1. Select the Tools menu (three dotted lines in the top right corner).
  2. Select History.
  3. Select Clear Browsing Data on the left side. Set the Time Range to All time, check Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files. Then select Clear Data.
  4. Quit/Close Chrome to save your changes.
Clear cache for Mozilla Firefox
  1. Select the Tools bar (three bar in the top right corner).
  2. Select History.
  3. Select Clear Recent History.
  4. Select Time range to clear: Everything.
  5. Check Cookies, Cache, Site settings, and Offline website data. Then OK.
  6. Quit/Close Firefox to save your changes.
Clear cache for Safari
  1. Select Safari menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select the Privacy tab, then select the Manage Website Data.
  4. Select Remove All.
  5. Select Remove Now.
  6. Quit/Close Safari to save your changes.
Clear cache for Microsoft Edge
  1. Select Settings (three dots in the top right corner) and open Settings.
  2. Select Privacy, search and services on the left side. Then under Clear Browsing Data, select Choose what to clear.
  3. Select Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files then select Clear now.
  4. Quit/Close MS Edge to save your changes.
