Client: Diana Mau
In addition to running her own accounting firm, Diana Mau is constantly investing time and effort to provide the public with information on financial planning. She has hosted radio shows, seminars, and published tax guides. As the public shifts to the Internet to find information, Diana decides her website is due for some design changes. In fact, no major changes have occurred since 2002.
After evaluating the costs of updating the current Dreamweaver website, we decide that the most cost-effective solution is to rebuild it in WordPress.
To build on Diana’s identity, the new website uses colours that exist on her logo – dark grey, and burgundy – and olive green, which is the wall colour in Diana’s office. Clients who have been to Diana’s office will immediately recognize this website as hers, as compared to the blue theme on the old website.
Other details include use of a larger font size for the Chinese website, a Google map linked under the Location header in the footer, and Recaptcha Contact form to prevent from spam submissions. The new site is mobile responsive and has sticky table of contents and navigation.
